Waiting for Spring
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
March lives in the in-between. The calendar says spring is near, but the air still carries winter’s chill. It’s a slow, quiet shifting—not quite blooming, not quite barren.
Sometimes, our spiritual lives feel the same.
We’re waiting for something new to emerge—for clarity, growth, or a promise fulfilled. But the waiting feels long. The soil looks unchanged. And we wonder if anything is happening beneath the surface.
Ecclesiastes reminds us that there’s a season for everything. That includes the ones that don’t look fruitful yet. The waiting ones. The gray ones. The quiet, uncertain, in-between ones.
Just because you can’t see the change doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Spring will come. It always does. But even now, He’s working in this season of your life.
Grace Notes
This month has felt layered for me—hope mixed with heaviness. Some days hint at newness. Others feel stuck in pause. But beneath it all, I trust God is preparing something. I don’t need to see the bloom to believe the roots are growing.
