Light for the Longest Day

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
— Psalm 119:105
Some days feel long—not just because of the hours, but because of the weight we carry. The busyness, the worry, the tasks that never seem to end. June brings more light in the sky, but sometimes it feels like there’s even more to do.
In these long, stretched-out seasons, we don’t always need clarity about everything. We just need enough light to take the next step. And God’s Word offers us exactly that.
He doesn’t promise to light up the whole path at once. Instead, He gives us a lamp—enough to guide us through the next step. His Word, His presence, His peace are enough to lead us, even when the way seems long.
If your days feel like they’re stretching out with no end in sight, take heart. You’re not walking alone. His light is always enough for the next step.
Grace Notes
I’ve been learning that I don’t always need the whole plan or the big picture. I just need to trust what He’s lighting right in front of me. One step. One breath. And it’s enough to keep moving forward.
